Safeguarding Family Values
Wyoming has a deep history of traditional family values, and I believe these values have attracted generations of families to put down roots, build lives, and strengthen their communities across our state. Now more than ever, we must defend and promote the principles that have made Wyoming a great place to raise a family. That means standing up for parents' rights, supporting safe schools and neighborhoods, and ensuring families can afford to live, work, and thrive in Wyoming.
Ensuring Fiscal Responsibility
Goshen County families work hard for their money, and they deserve to keep as much of it as possible. As your representative, I will demand greater transparency and accountability in how taxpayer dollars are spent while working to reduce the tax burden on everyday families. Responsible government means living within our means, protecting taxpayers, and ensuring public funds are used wisely.
Supporting Agriculture & Land Use
Beyond the cultural heritage of our land, water rights and grazing rights are essential to the livelihoods of family businesses and to the production of the goods that support communities across Wyoming. Local businesses and free enterprise thrive when government respects property rights and avoids unnecessary interference in the decisions of producers, entrepreneurs, and landowners. By protecting agriculture, responsible land use, and economic opportunity, we will strengthen the economic backbone of Wyoming.
Protecting Private Property and Public Lands
I believe private property ownership is foundational to American liberty and an important part of achieving the American Dream, while Wyoming’s public lands remain a treasured asset that should stay open for responsible uses such as grazing, recreation, energy development, and wildlife habitat. Public lands serve an important role, but they must never come at the expense of private property rights or a landowner’s ability to use and enjoy their property.
Defending the 2nd Amendment
I am committed to protecting the Second Amendment and the rights of law-abiding citizens to keep and bear arms, a right that remains essential to Wyoming’s rural way of life, self-defense, and heritage. Our Wyoming Constitution clearly states that “the right of citizens to bear arms in defense of themselves and of the state shall not be denied,” and I will continue to defend that principle, and supporting our strong hunting traditions.
Prioritizing Wyoming's Legacy Industries & New Business Development
I am committed to protecting the industries that have made Wyoming strong, including oil, natural gas, coal, trona, farming, and ranching. These industries provide stable jobs, fund schools and infrastructure, and sustain the local organizations and traditions that keep Wyoming communities strong. As a small business owner and attorney, I will fight burdensome regulations and federal overreach, support responsible resource development, keep taxes low and predictable so future generations can build their families right here in Wyoming.
