My name is Joe Speckner, and I'm running for the Wyoming House of Representatives in District 5.

While on the campaign trail, I want to share local issues that are important to me. 

The 2nd Amendment today represents the right of American citizens to defend themselves and recreate responsibly. Having this right requires individual responsibility and respect for the autonomy of our friends and neighbors. Our constitutional freedoms are worth fighting for, and protecting them requires both legislators and citizens to stay engaged and push back against government overreach. 

The right to bear arms is a freedom that the founders saw as essential to a new nation, and it is our responsibility to protect these freedoms now to keep them secure for future generations. 

I'm running to bring Goshen County's conservative voice to Cheyenne. I want to ensure that our children have the chance to build their lives right here at home.
